The clouds fight one another, gray wrestling upon black and white,  and for the sake of the sun only do they hold a truce  And even then, who knows how temporary  I am not triumph, but an awakening.   
A tree stands, its boughs  
Seemingly gently and strong  Are decaying slowly from within  And its benign boughs are trembling  With unexplainable rage  I am not a moment, but a mood.   
Rather than ending, I offer beginnings,  A second chance  I am here, all around you  I will never fade.

I  catch a glimpse  
Of the darkness from behind a camera.  Refracting shadows.   
The flickering light of the street lamp  As it sputters and dies--  But what follows is not darkness  But the lightness of our laughter,  Seemingly lighter by the moment.   
Forgive me my real or imagined sins.   
Flowers wither, flowers fade  And shed their colors like butterflies  Shedding cocoons, rotting...  Beautiful in their desiccation.   
My blood is not orange.

~Hey EVERYONE~
Sooo here's the latest deal: I've added some bound Shakespeare scripts to my theatrical collection, including "Twelfth Night" and "Much Ado About Nothing". I already had "Romeo & Juliet". I've also gotten the script for "Sweeney Todd", plus a bunch of really gory Martin McDonagh plays. At the moment, however, I'm cramming lines. I'm performing in "Pericles, Prince of Tyre" by Shakespeare on Friday, and I've got to be off book by tomorrow. *BITES METAPHORICAL NAILS* At the same time, I've written another poem. But anyway, I'll be playing Pericles, the prince of Tyre on Friday, sooo I've got some monologues to shove into my brain. Wish me luck!!!!
